Shelley Gaddie

“I knew I’d taken work too far when my kids started negotiating for bigger allowances based on a strategic value formula.”

Shelley Gaddie Founder and President

As founder, Shelley directs business development, strategic account generation, and partner relationships at ProjectCorps along with the ‘big picture’ thinking on project management and its value—now and in the future—to businesses and large organizations. Her unique background as a research scientist and chemical engineer shaped a personal philosophy: always seek balanced, practical solutions to complex problems.

Prior to forming ProjectCorps, Shelley held executive leadership and consulting roles in a number of project and business management consulting firms. She also held research positions at leading multinational firms where she engineered a number of technological breakthroughs that are used in products throughout the world. She holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in chemistry and chemical engineering from the University of California at Berkeley.

Shelley speaks regionally and nationally to governments, organizations, and industries on portfolio and project management topics. She is also an active member of the Project Management Institute (PMI) and has served on its Global Research Member Advisory Group since 2003.

Shelley currently serves as the president of the PMI Puget Sound Chapter in Seattle, the largest PMI chapter on the West Coast. Away from work, Shelley is an avid reader of history, enjoys backcountry hiking and skiing in the Cascade Mountains with her family, and is an active volunteer leader in her children’s schools.
